Happy Friday,
Today you will spend some time reading your classmates blogs. As I have said before, it's no fun to keep a blog if no one is going to read it. Access at least three other people's blogs and comment on there ideas for the 20% Project. Your comments can include words of encouragement, questions, or even suggestions.
After you have finished reading and commenting on blogs, you will need to begin work on your Pitch Poster. Remember this is your plan for how you want to accomplish you're goal. You will use this as the visual in your Pitch Presentation. We will record our pitches on October 13 and then watch them the following week. You have today and next Friday to get your poster completed and practice making your pitch.
Let me know if you have any questions. :)
P.S. I have made several grammar mistakes in my blog post. See if you can locate them and comment below my post with the mistake and how to fix it.

ReplyDeleteHappy Friday,
Today, (comma after "today") you will spend some time reading your classmate's ('s after "classmate") blogs. As I have said before, it's no fun to keep a blog if no one is going to read it. Access at least three other people's blogs and comment on their (change "there" to "their") ideas for the 20% Project. Your comments can include words of encouragement, questions, or even suggestions.
After you have finished reading and commenting on blogs, you will need to begin work on your Pitch Poster. Remember, (comma after "remember") this is your plan for how you want to accomplish your (change "you're" to "your") goal. You will use this as the visual in your Pitch Presentation. We will record our pitches on October 13th, (should be "13th", not "13", and add a comma after 13th) and then watch them the following week. You have today and next Friday to get your poster completed and practice making your pitch.
Let me know if you have any questions. :)
P.S. I have made several grammar mistakes in my blog post. See if you can locate them and comment below my post with the mistake and how to fix it.
The mistakes are
ReplyDeleteClassmates' blogs
Peoples' blogs
Their ideas
Your goal
There should be a comma after "Today," in the first paragraph.
ReplyDeleteClassmates'*
"People's" could be correct or incorrect; it depends on how you view it.
'Their ideas*,'not 'there ideas'
Remember,* (comma was not present after 'Remember,' though it should be)
"Your goal," not "you're goal."
Technically, in the second paragraph, the word 'then' in the sentence "...and then watch them the following week," is unnecessary.
'October 13th,'* not 'October 13.'
That's all I could find.
How to fix the mistakes:
ReplyDeleteClassmates should be changed to classmate's
Change there blogs to their blogs
Remember this is your plan... should be changed to Remember, this is your plan...
You're goal should be changed to your goal
